Getting Started with Xareus

1. What is Xareus?

Xareus is a set tools, including a scenario engine and a relation engine. The aim is to help creators develop XR applications faster. It facilitates interaction and scenarization and provides a full integration within Unity.

2. How to get Xareus for Unity?

Installing Xareus requires no licence or account. Xareus comes in a freemium mode by default with limited functionalities. Please contact-us to acquire a full feature licence.

3. How to use Xareus in Unity?

Once you have imported the package, put the prefab Xareus>Prefab>Relation engine + scenario engine (or any other prefab depending on your needs) in your scene.

4. Where to start?

Once you have imported the Xareus Package, you can browse the tutorials and documentation on this website.

If you are interested in scenarios, a good starting point would be the definition of petri networks. This is the main scenario model used in Xareus. We would then recommend reading about the scenario engine to better understand a scenario workflow and the howto page to learn about the scenario editor

Another starting point are the samples provided with the package. See the first installation page.
